Awra Briguela Imitates Sharley Bassey Shocks The Whole World

Once again, child star Awra Briguela rocked 'Your Face Sounds Familiar Kids' with his hilarious yet entertaining performance as broadway singer Shirley Bassey.
Awra amazed the studio and television viewers with his own rendition of Shirley's hit song, 'I Am what I Am' on Sunday. He really delivered a complete package as he sang in full character, every note and gesture performed perfectly. The child performer really showed that he can imitate almost anyone, including the iconic international singer.
Among the pool of people who were really impressed by Awra's performance are the competition's judges themselves. They highlighted Awra's ability to put humor in every performance. Megastar Sharon Cuneta, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano and singer/songwriter Ogie Alcasid all agreed that aside from being an all-out performer, Awra is really a good comedian as well.
"Grabe ka, Awra. Ginalingan mo talaga. Alam mo, meron ka kasing style dito sa 'Your Face' na kakaiba eh. Ang tawag doon, parody. 'Yung nanggagaya ka, pero ang atake mo, comic. Ikaw lang ang nakakagawa noon," Ogie said according to ABS-CBN.
Gary V. praised Awra as he claimed: "Every week, meron kang ipinapakita sa akin na nagpapatunay na ikaw ay magiging isa sa pinaka-successful comedians ng Pilipinas, ever,"
Sharon who has been laughing since Awra approached the stage seemed to have lost her words and could not think of anything more to comment.
"Ah basta masaya kaming lahat sa ginawa niya, diba? We love you Awra," Sharon said.
Awra gave an entertaining Sunday with the help of other contestants such as Xia Vigor who imitated Diana Ross, Sam Shoaf as MC Hammer and AC Bonifacio as Gloria Estefan.
