LOOK: Senator De Lima Wants Social Media Ban in the Philippines?



Senator Leila De Lima has stopped a proposition with the Philippines Senate Trying to put a prohibition on the utilization of online networking or social media in the nation.

As indicated by De Lima, the online networking or social media like facebook and twitter has been mishandled by the Filipino youth and the dependence is becoming quickly. She included that, the high rate of unemployment is not on account of there are no occupations, but rather this is on the grounds that the adolescent are lethargic.

"They would rather invest energy in the web spreading false data about me. It will be banned" - She said.

As per the senator, the adolescent doesn't have any arrangements of seeking for work or advanced education, however, invest all their energy in Facebook spreading malignant data about her.

"I understand they want to support their leader. Yes, I have no problem but you don`t spend all your precious time circulating bad information about me while you could have used that to work. This is a complete laziness" - De Lima said.

Series of fake reports have been circulating online about the senator with some suggesting that she has resigned from here post. |She has therefore attributed the situation to laziness among the youth of the country.
