After the petition gathered many supporters, Department of Tourism and even the Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach quickly calmed the Miss U fans and they promised that they will do everything to assure that Miss Universe Organizers will not be affected by the petition.
Last week, Pia Wurtzbach and Tourism Secretary Wanda Tulfo-Teo announced that Miss Universe 2017 will be held in the Philippines despite of the petitions.
The coronation night will be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on January 30,2017 at 5A.M
