Sandra Cam to De Lima 'Hinahamon kita, sampahan mo ako ng kasong libel kung hindi ako nagsasabi ng totoo!'

Cam, a former whistleblower who exposed the alleged links of former president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo’s family to jueteng, submitted her 10-page affidavit to the CA detailing her opposition to De Lima’s appointment. She accused the Justice secretary of being incompetent, indifferent in certain cases and of having illicit affairs with two married men.

Cam said, citing reports circulating in media, that Secretary De Lima is having an affair with fugitive Cesar Mancao. Mancao. a former intelligence officer of the Philippine National Police, became known for his involvement in the murder of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and his driver Emmanuel Corbito in 2000 and the rub-out of Kuratong Baleleng gang members. He escaped from his NBI detention cell last year, May, 2013.

The former jueteng whistleblower also bared that De Lima is having an affair with her married driver, Ronnie Dayan.

“Her illicit affair with Cesar Mancao has been circulating in the media for quite some time. Furthermore, reports have it that the Secretary is engaged in another illicit affair with her married driver, Ronnie Dayan,” Sandra Cam said adding that although De Lima’s marriage has been annulled, the other parties are married. She even dared the justice secretary to sue her so she could present her evidence in the proper forum.

“I’m encouraging Secretary De Lima to file a libel case against me so I have the chance to bring the truth to court. I’m just waiting for the proper forum and the video tape,” Cam said.

De Lima responded to Cam’s allegations but chose not to answer the one about her alleged engagement in “illicit affairs,” saying it was “too demeaning” for her. She also refused to take Cam’s challenge that a libel case be filed against her, saying it would be a waste of her time.

Meanwhile, Malacañang urged the CA deliberations to focus on the performance of the recommendee and not on extraneous matters.
