MUST READ: Duterte to UN and EU: 'I was never into hypocrisy like you. I will finish the problem of my country and save the next generation”
President Rodrigo Duterte is willing to take a page from the German dictator Adolf Hitler’s book and purge millions of suspected drug addicts if that’s what it would take to solve the drug menace in the country.
Facing reporters upon his arrival from a two-day official visit to Vietnam Friday (Sept. 30), Duterte said: “Hitler massacred three million Jews. Now there is three million, there’s a three million drug addict. There are. I’d be happy to slaughter them.” “At least if Germany had Hitler, the Philippines would have you know, my victims, I would like to be all criminals to finish the problem of my country and save the next generation from perdition,” he added.
An estimated six million Jews perished during the Holocaust, the state-sponsored genocide ordered by Hitler from 1941 to 1944. Duterte made the statement as he slammed the United States and the European Union anew for turning a blind eye on the deluge of migrants from the Middle East while focusing their attention on his administration’s anti-drug war.
Addressing the two international bodies, he said: “Kayong US, EU. You can call me anything. But I was never into or I am never into hypocrisy like you.” “Close your doors, it’s wintertime. There are migrants escaping from the Middle East. You allow them to rot and then you’re worried about the death of about 1,000, 2,000, 3,000,” Duterte added.
