Illegal drugs prices double in some places in the Philippines because of War on Drugs
Methamphetamine Hydrochloride (shabu) prices were doubled in some places in the Philippines including Negros Occidental.
From 6,000 Pesos, the price of the shabu was doubled to 12,000 pesos per gram, according to Provincial Police Chief Senior Superintendent William Senoron.
Señoron also added that more than 11,000 drug users and pushers in Negros Occidental have surrendered during the Oplan Double Barrel and Tokhang that started since July.
Because of non-stop War on Drugs by the Duterte administration, street price of the said illegal drug was still expected to increase.
PNP Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa announced last week that the supply of illegal drugs in the Philippines cut down by 90% because of the successful war on drugs of the current administration.
