Palace exec express Rody-Leila quarrel has become a national telenovela
Presidential Communications Office chief, Sec. Martin Andanar, explained on Thursday that President Duterte had lost patience on Sen. Leila de Lima for her harsh criticisms against the administration’s drug campaign.
Thus, the President’s expose on the senator’s sordie love affair with his driver who was also her bagman on the supposed payola from druglords.
“My reaction is maybe the President has had it already with all of the negative comments of Senator De Lima on the war against illegal drugs,” he said.
In an interview in Davao where the Palace launched a video about the President’s first 50 days in office, Andanar said the fight between the President and de Lima goes way back when Duterte was still mayor and the senator was still chair of the Commission on Human Rights.
So, tuloy-tuloy po hanggang ngayon and it has become a national telenovela,” Andanar said.
